Some issues on the existing management of rural and agricultural environment

Abstract

    Along with the national development, agriculture, rural areas gradually have been changed: the infrastructure have been invested and upgraded step by step; material life, spirit of rural residents have been improved more and more. However, during the development process, rural environmental pollution is increasing due to waste generated from cultivation, livestock and the domestic activities which are threating to the sustainable development of the countryside. This paper aims at reviewing the performance of the agricultural and rural environment protection in order to draw advantages and disadvantages so as to propose the appropriate solutions. The proposed solutions are: improving the policy of agricultural and rural environmental protection; to clearly define the roles and responsibilities of the State management agencies; to enhance the application of green and clean scientific and technological solutions suitable for agricultural and rural activities
