Abstract

Solanum procumbers is a small tree which lives for many years and often grows in densely mixed bushes in the fences and wastelands. The distribution area of solanum procumbers is relatively abundant. The plant contains Glycoalcaloids, which has antioxidant properties and reduces the impact of liver diseases. In fact, the plant can be propagated sexually (by seed) and asexually (by cuttings branches). Currently, there are many substrates used for cuttings, but there has not been any specific study to evaluate the effect and find out the most suitable substrate for solanum procumbers. The research results showed that using CT2 medium (60% soil + 20% smoked rice husk + 10% mushroom residue + 10% additives) gave the highest results (the sprout length, reaching 15.27cm, the number of double leaves was 15.27cm): 7.20 and the diameter was 0.45cm) in all studies and lowest in CT1 (100% soil).
