Since 2015-2016, the power plant generators split into independent units

Abstract

From day 12/25/2013, according to Decision No. 63/2013 / QD-TTg, the electricity market in Vietnam was formed and developed over three levels: competitive electricity markets (from now until the end of the year 2014); wholesale electricity market competition (pilot since 2015 to 2016 and completed in 2017 to 2021); retail electricity market competition (pilot since 2021 to 2023 and completed after 2023).
