TPP and the impact on Vietnam's garment

Abstract

The participating leaders negotiating strategic partnership agreements across the Pacific (TPP) is making goals will conclude negotiations by the end of 2013. According to the observations of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), in the negotiations on the TPP, textile always was one of the important content by size and industry influence to all the content of negotiations. Therefore, when this Agreement is signed will have a major impact on Vietnam's textile and garment industry in terms of both opportunities as well as risks and challenges.
