Abstract
In recent years, the new trends of using modem technical equipment in ImItativeexperimental methods for researching kinetic and mechanism and estimating rapidly process ofmetallic corrosion instead of natural field experiments have a promising future. This paperrepresents initial results applying electrochemical polarization and impedance techniques on.,imitative experiments for researching corrosion of CT3 steel in Hoai Duc soil samples at I mdepth. The electrochemical parameters obtained from imitative experiments are compared withresults of mass loss of field experiments. This comparation shows similarity on changes ofcorrosion process. Thus, application of electrochemical polarization and impedance techniqueson experiments in soil box and in extractive water permits researching kinetic and mechanism ofsteel corrosion in particular, of metallic corrosion in general and substituting for natural fieldexperiments in soil.
