SOME NEW APPROACHES IN THE FUZZY CONTROL METHOD USING HEDGE ALGEBRAS

Abstract
Hedge algebras generate a basic of mathematical foundation in formalizing fuzzinessmeasure of linguistic hedges and terms. Upon such basis, we can introduce quantifying linguisticdomains and developing fuzzy interpolative reasoning methods to solve problems of fuzzynonlinear system control. The initial result shows that this reasoning method is much better thanfuzzy set based conventional reasoning ones.Follaing the above heading theory, this paper aims to propose two new approaches: thefirst is the combination:'between hedge algebra and RBF neural network and the second is thecombination between hedge algebra and genetic algorithm for solving fuzzy control problems.These new approaches are applied to solve aircraft landing control problem. As a result, methodusing our approaches proves to be better than that of conventional method
