The status and solution to Vietnam's equitization of the state owned enterprises (SOEs)

Abstract

Equitization of SOEs is one of the economic policies of the Vietnameses Party and State during renovation period. How has it been realized after 15 years of its implenmenation should be reviewed and asseseed , especially after Vietnam's admission to WTO. The main contents of the article include:

1. The view  and policy of the Party and State towards SOEs Equitization

2. Initial successesof SOE's equitization

3. Some outstanding problems and limitations in the process of SOEs equitiation

4. The reasons for successes and limitations

5. Solution to the problems in the coming period
