Impact of economic crisis on the survival of small and medium enterprises in Vietnam

Abstract

This is the first study to use the econometric method to assess the impact of the 2008 economic crisis on the viability of small and medium enterprises in Vietnam. Using the microeconomics model with an unbalanced array of data for 2005-2011, research indicates that the economic crisis has a negative impact on the viability of the business; Businesses with improved performance are likely to outlive the crisis; And give some policy implications.
