Monopoly control of state-owned enterprises in a market economy in Vietnam

Abstract

State-owned monopolies dominate the market and play a dominant role in many important economic sectors. At the same time, monopoly control activities with this sector remain constrained in terms of price controls, monopoly control, and market dominance. The article evaluates the current situation, proposing policy implications to control monopoly and state-owned enterprises in the Vietnamese economy.
