Situation of development of Vietnam logistics services after joining WTO

Abstract

In the context of statistical data of Vietnam is still limited, to carry out research work, the author based mainly on the criteria of LPI (Logistics Performance Index National logistics) of the World Bank over the years (from 2007 to 2014) to serve as a basis for assessing the development of logistics services in Vietnam after WTO accession. Each index will be compared over the years and compared to other countries such as the BRICS group, Southeast Asian countries - countries with many similarities with Vietnam. At the same time, primary data collected from the author's survey in May 2005 in Ho Chi Minh City will be used to evaluate the development of Vietnam logistic services.
