Models supporting financial resources for small and medium enterprises in the world - lessons for Vietnam

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises are an enterprise system that is very important for growth and economic and social stability. However, in the process of development, small and medium enterprises often face many difficulties and challenges from many sides, especially from fierce competition from competitors due to limited capacity in scale. Capital, technology level, backwardness, human resources ... leading to resistance to fluctuations or risks are quite weak. Governments in many countries have adopted different policies to support small and medium enterprises to create a favorable business environment. The paper reviews experience in countries and proposes choosing one of three models of SME finance.
