Results of agricultural reform: differences between Vietnam and China and Eastern European countries
Abstract
The paper examines the transition from a centrally planned economy to a market economy, with particular focus on analyzing the successes and failures of the agricultural reform process during this period. Major starting points, different agricultural support policies and the identification of agricultural land ownership are critical factors in the success of Vietnam and China, while bringing about a decline in agricultural land.
