The role of the Government in responding to climate change in Vietnam

Abstract

Responding to climate change is one of the greatest human challenges in the 21st century. The complexity of climate change responses stemming from the characteristics of this combination include market failures, differences in the consequences and resilience of actors in the economy. Based on the theory of the role of government and secondary data collected, the paper analyzes the role of government in climate change response. On that basis, the paper proposes suggestions for action by the Government on the response to climate change in Viet Nam.
