The economic structure of the Central Highlands and some issues raised

Abstract


In recent years, economic Highlands achieved some remarkable results, the growth rate higher than the national average. However, economic growth is not sustainable, mainly based on the exploitation of natural resources depletion, which is easy, simple labor, while these resources are used inefficiently. The economic structure of the region shift towards promoting no particular advantage and comparative advantage of the puddle, low added value. How growth and economic structure so poses many challenges of sustainable development. This article raises the status and problems of economic restructuring in order to contribute to the discussion and direction for economic restructuring Highlands towards sustainable development.
