Land reform in Taiwan

Abstract

In Taiwan had occurred 3 times for land reform. The first reforms took place in the 50s of XX century. The reform is mainly aimed at improving the relations of production, liberate the productive forces in rural areas, improve the production of active farmers. The second reform in the years 70-80 of the twentieth century to eliminate trading regime smallholders, mainly abolished private ownership of land small, professionalizing implementation, chemical and mechanical factories of agriculture. The third reform took place in the 90s of XX century, with the aim of resolving the issues surrounding the market of agricultural land, meet the needs of globalized world and joined the Organization World trade. This article briefly introduced land reforms in Taiwan to provide information and policy experience and managed to land.
