RESEARCH AND DESIGN OF A SUDDEN PRESSURE RISE GENERATION SYSTEM FOR TESTING RAPID PRESSURE RISE RELAY INSTALLED ON HIGH-VOLTAGE TRANSFORMERS
Abstract
In the field of power transmission, rapid pressure rise relays are used to
ensure the safety of transformers used on high voltage power lines. This study
proposes a methodology to create surge pressure to test the functioning of the
rapid pressure rise relay. This paper presents a model of a sudden pressure rise
generation system, develops a theoretical basis, a control algorithm and conducts
experimental testing. Test results show that the system allows pressure changes
according to the given curve. Some factors affecting actual results are also
presented in the article. The research results have been successfully applied in
manufacturing a pressure relay testing system. Further research can be developed
in the direction of optimizing the algorithm, taking into account factors affecting
control errors and optimizing system parameters to ensure the function of
generating surge pressure with cheapest cost and highest quality.
