THE INFLUENCE OF TIRE RIGIDITY ON DYNAMIC LOAD IN THREE-AXLE TRUCKS

Abstract

Dynamic loads are generated during the car's movement on the road under
the agitation of the road surface unevenness, affecting the traffic infrastructure
architecture, causing fatigue of the car's details. Tire stiffness is one of the load-
related variables. The author created a dynamic model of the vehicle, set up a
system of differential equations, and used Matlab software to calculate the
dynamic load acting on the vehicle when the tire stiffness changes in order to have
a foundation for analyzing the impact of tire stiffness on dynamic loads acting on
three-wheeled trucks. The evaluation's findings indicate that the dynamic load
rises proportionally to tire stiffness with speed.
