EFFECTS OF SOLID CONTENT ON COOLANT ON SURFACE ROUGHNESS IN GRINDING ALUMINUM BY VIET NAM DISCONTINUED WHEEL

Abstract

This article represents about the effects of coolant concentration to surface
roughness when grind alumilum by Vietnam discontinued wheel. There were 3
newly developed grinding wheels with( = 16.37%, 18.19% and 21.83%
respectivelyand one conventional  different  = 0%) were used to grind
aluminum. During the grinding process, a large amount of heat is radiated,
affecting the surface quality of the workpiece. Therefore, it is very important to
study the concentration of the coolant supplied for the grinding process. So using
VBC EMCOOL DW-100H coolant solution with different concentrations of 3%, 4%
and 5% in this research.The results showed surface of samples when grinding
with  = 21.83% wheel and coolent 5% is more smooth than others.
