Abstract

Fabric consumption is an important basis for ordering fabrics, calculating the cost of garment
products, and signing contracts. Depending on the form of decoration on the fabric surface, the sewing
product requirements will apply a different method of marker making and the fabric consumption will
change. The article presents the results of determining the marker efficiency for some marker-making
methods such as two-way maker, one-way maker, and two-way synchronous on each product maker.
Determining the correlation of shirt fabric consumption of Man’s shirts in different methods of marker
making by experimental method. The results showed that the marker efficiency for some methods of
marker making such as two-way maker, one-way maker, and two-way synchronous on each product
maker is 89.49%, 87.82%, 88.94% respectively 95% confidence level is statistically significant, there
is a linear relationship of fabric consumption between the methods of marker making.
