RESEARCH ON THE EFFECT OF RUBBER HARDNESS ON 100% COTTON RUBBER FIBER QUALITY

Abstract

Research on the hardness of the rubber to the quality of the raw yarn 100% Carded
Cotton raw yarn ro improve quality and increase factory productivity. The hardness of
the rubber is an important parameter that determines the quality of the yarn.
Experimental study on the carded cotton spinning line in general and on the raw
spinning machine in particular. The study on the influence of rubber bobbin hardness
on cotton spinning quality was carried out on the same technological conditions
(temperature, time), the same yarn count and change in the hardness of the rubber
bobbin. Four levels of hardness of the rubber transparent were surveyed, respectively
83 shore, 85 shore, 88 shore, 90 shore. The results show that when keeping the yarn
count and increasing the stiffness of the rubber bobbin, the quality parameters such as
irregularity CVm (%), IPI index (Neps), short fiber content (SFC(n)) of raw fibers
increased markedly.
