Appraisement Actual Time of Showing on Rice Production in Ea-sup, Dakla

Abstract

Sowing date plays the most important practice for rice production in Ea-sup district in winter - spring and summer - autumn seasons. It is shown that the best sowing time stretches from end December to middle January in spring season and entire July for summer - autumn season. Optimum sowing time gave high yielding ability about 6.0 tons per ha and 4.8 to 5.7 tons per ha in winter - spring and summer - autumn season, respectively. Too early or too late sowing causes low yield in rice production at Ea-sup.
