Experimental testing result of some introduced vegetable soybean varieties in some Red River delta communities

Abstract

Vegetable soybean was evaluated in Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetables where belongs to Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences since 1995. After 5 years of study, the experiment shows that the AGS 346, AGS 347, AGS 350, AGS 333, AGS 334, AGS 336...  was the promising varieties. In order to identify soybean variety with good growth, high yield, good quality, adaptable for Red River delta, some introduced soybean varieties were tested in Ha Tay, Hai Duong, Thai Binh community in 2006-2007. Testing results identified AGS 346 had suitable growth and development for Red River delta with yield of 9.45 - 10.5 ton/ha (green fruit), 12.5 - 13.7 ton/ha (dry fruit), high disease resistance and can be planted in different season in the year
