Effects of B, Mo, Zn on physiological indicators and yield of peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) in Thua Thien Hue province
Abstract
Peanut is a major oilseed crop in Thua Thien Hue province but the yield is still low. This research was conducted to find-out the optimal combinations of B, Mo and Zn for application on sandy soil to improve peanut yield. The experiment consists of 8 treatments, replicated thrice in a RCBD at Tu Ha Crops Research Center, Agronomy Faculty, Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry. The variety used is L14. Combination of B 0.03% + Mo 0.03% + Zn 0.03% for soaking seeds before sowing and foliar spraying after flowering stage significantly increased the physiological and growth attributes and yield of peanut. The economic yield was increased by 22.4%.
