Political - Social Organizations Participate Eliminating Hunger, Reducing Poverty in Rural Tan Lac Distric, Hoa Binh Province

Abstract

In the system of civil society organizations, political - social organizations is one important part. With the voluntary and non-profit nature, those organization have considered as appropriate and necessary organizational form in the gathering, linking people, especially people in mountain rural areas in eliminating hunger, reducing poverty. This study focused on the guidelines and policies of the Party and Government on the roleof political - social organizations, types of actives of political – social organizations in eliminating hunger, reducing poverty in Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh province. With four basic types of activities, the role of political - social organizations has been confirmed in contributing to fulfilling the objectives and tasks of eliminating hunger, reducing poverty of the locality. However, the uneven content and effect between the types of activities is a cause to limited total effect and therefore, the role of political - social organizations in eliminating hunger, reducing poverty have not really stand out. This is important base for propose measures to promote the role of political - social organizations in eliminating hunger, reducing poverty in TanLac
