Abstract
Pathological and immunohistochemical techniques were applied to detect target virus from 5 sows infected with PRRS (Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome). After that, samples of lung, pulmonary lymphnode and uterus of the above sows were used for isolation of PRRS virus in Marc 145 cell line. It was found that the virus causing PRRS in sows in Viet Nam could be isolated and grew well in Marc 145 cell line with cito pathogenic effect (CPE) observed 48h after inoculation in all samples
