Effect of Potassium Dosages on Groundnut Variety L23 at Gia Lam – Ha Noi
Abstract
A field experiment was carried out to evaluate effect of different potassium doses on growth, yield on groundnut variety L23 at Gia Lam (Ha Noi) in 2008, 2009, 2010 spring crops. In the experiment, six levels of K2O (0, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 kg/ha) were applied. All treatments were applied with 8 tons oganic fertilizer, 500 kg CaO, 40 kg N, 120 kg K2O. The treatments were arranged in a randomized complete block design with three replications. The results showed that increasing levels of potassium fertilizer increased plant height, leaf area index, dry matter accumulation, nodule number and yield. It was concluded from the results that the most suitable potassium level is 60 kg K2O/ha.
