Some gender aspects in SRI and Book keeping models in My Duc district - Hanoi

Abstract

This research aims to provide additional evidence on Gender participation in small models at households level. They are technical model SRI- Systems of Rice intensification and management model - Book keeping. Both models are supported by Oxfam America for 3 communes Dai Nghia, Hop Tien and An Tien, My Duc District, Ha Noi City. In social activities as well as SRI and Book keeping activities women have participated remarkably. By participating in the model, women had faster progress in changing the perception, attitude, decision making, record levels and economic calculation.
