Social Demand for Human Resource Training on Economics of Development in Vietnam

Abstract

Using the participatory research approach, the study has analyzed the situation of social demands for human resource training in development-economics from three information sources: (i) Units using human resources of development-economics, (ii) Units training human resources of development-economics, and (iii) The former students majoring in development-economics. Research results figure out that there is an excess of the social needs of training on human resources of development-economics, while there is a lack of training provisions of it. Moreover, there are many problems relevant to the quality and the suitability of the current training outputs of the development-economics' human resources in Vietnam.
