Critical factors influencing on job satisfaction of female construction workers in Ho Chi Minh City

Abstract

This  paper  presents  results  of  the  study  of  critical  factors  influencing  on  job satisfaction of female workers in Ho Chi Minh City. The study was conducted through questionnaire surveys with 180 female workers working for construction contractors in Ho Chi Minh City. Descriptive statistical analysis indicated that most of female workers were common labours. They have got low education, less experience in construction. Eploratory factor analysis (EFA) resulted in 5 critical factors affecting job satisfaction. The project parties and social organizations may use findings to improve job satisfaction of female workers working for construction contractors.
